I've all the Pam187 that different dealers are selling, cant help but need to ask... which is the most exact version? And are all the markers that yellow? Cos it would be a dead giveaway... Any dealers have the one that the markers color actually look like the gen? And last of all which one is the correct thickness cos i saw a discussion regarding the diff in thickness.

I'm love pannies but have absolute NO KNOWLEDGE of opening up n modifying them, is it possible to get a rep that comes ready with AR coatin, suoerlume hands n markers as well as without the recessed centerpin? In other words, a 'perfect' pam straight from the start without having to resent to someone to do certain modifications?

I'm new here, still learning the rules so pls help me out here if i flouted any..

I think the dealers here are doing a great job with providing the wn here superb quality reps as well as helpful members who helps each other out with answers n solutions. And not forgetting the tireless mods who police this place!!!!

All answers are deeply appreciated n thanks in advance. Might take me a while to reply to this post again as i'm on my Pda on the road..

Cheers!!!

Well I just ordered a 187 from Silix, I hope that the quality is good and not a red herring on my arm. I have read some of the mod postings so if it looks bad I may be reaching out to those that sell the parts to make it right. I own a 111 gen ( I think it's a 111) so I have some experience with the watches. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

PAM187

I received a 187 from EddieLee when the new versions 1st became available and I have to say these new ones have very accurate hour markers ie. not yellowish. The only problem I see with them is the font on the date wheel which is barely noticeable at all. Also the HE on the helium release valve is raised lettering and not engraved. :D

Thanks for your observations. Is there a date wheel mod for this?

While the date font is bad, the 187 has a very busy dial so it does not stand out much (unless thats your thing).

Hmmm........

i had the 1950 before but it felt too wide and flat on my wrist hence i'm considering getting the 187 as they're real thick monsters!

Thanks guys for your input on the watch! I may just have to wait for the newer version with a better date cyclops... And better lume i suppose.... :)

Cheers!
