Receive PAM homage watches and parts from Getat today !

Actually , this is my first time order stuff from Getat , and I'm really surprised in the quality they offer .
There're three watches and some parts , only one watch is mine and the others are order for the friends .
I wiuld like to share them for you guys so I took some pics when I receive right now .
All of these will do some more mod these days , but let's see what it should be when you receive it .

Just check the pics , it's the first one .

Beautiful case set and nice CG

PVD gun color A6497 with swan neck , really looking good !

I really have to say the strap they offer is really good !!
Ultra soft hand made strap with 24mm buckle !

Next , 249 style hamage , this one is mine .

I love the shape !

A6497 21600 VPH with swan neck ,

Same leather but different style strap , really soft as you see .

And the third is a 028 style PVD power reserve homage .

It's a Asian movement inside , but it's really good in that price .

The the rest is a PVD gun color movement , a vintage style dial .
These parts are using for a Ti homage project .

So , those are what I order this time , and I will do some mod as I said .

I too am very impressed with Getat; both the quality and the price. I recently got a GMT homage from them with one of those soft hand-made straps (my prize from the 'Snail' thread) and I can't believe how well made and how nice it is, for less than the price of a low-end rep.

Keep us posted on your mod projects; I'm particularly interested in your Ti homage.

Lume??

Nice shots, but you forget the Lume shots of this 3 nice pieces...aslo will be nice if you compare this lume with any relume job you have done...
Those watches are really the best money value i ever seen...
Getat was the best part of RWI shut down...:bananalama:

OK , I have to said I really forgot about the lume shots .
And the result is better than I thought !
The first one you saw is the Super Lume 44mm model , and I'm surprose in that is almost as bright as mine .
The picture you saw is a 029 vintage lume , cause I mix the C3 with C1 and also tinting to be yellow , so it's weaker than standard C3 .
You can see the Getat Super Lume is even brighter than my 029 .
But the rest like the 249 and the rest dial is not so well .
So if you care about the lume effect , Super lume might be a good choice .

BTW , the Super Lume can't keep such long time of lume effect as C3 .'

OK ,

Two days after I receive those homage watches & parts , let's see what they become now .
First one is the super lume one .
Actually , I order this one for the case set in the first .
A friend of mine order a Fiber watch (local brand with A6497 movement) , but the quality is worse than PAM reps . So he asked me to order a set for him to replace the movement .
You can see those parts are taking off from the original Fiber watch .

And now .

You will see the Fiber brand on the movement .

And I add a rep strap and pre-V 22mm buckle for him . Cause he has no much funds for this watch .

Second one is the 249 style one , I just do the relume job on it .
The original white color on the hands is strange to me , so I relume it to yellow (light orange ?) . About the dial , I try to amke it looks like the old style lume .
Check the result !

And the last one is the project for Ti case .
I do the relume and some basic mod on it .
Just check the pics to see the result .

Does the SS case come with cutouts in the case between the lugs?

Also, any photos where we can see the side profile of the case, from the crown side?

Looks like it has the cutouts to me, b. From the back shots, I see flat spots in the case centered between the lugs.

I know what you're thinking! :bananalama: And, you're right, other than it having the cutouts!


That CG isn't a bad A-D series representation, either...

He's got some really nice watches CHEAP! Great entry for those not so sure how they will like Pams.
Love that vintage California dial with orange numerals. I may have to pick one of those up myself!
