Can anyone tell me what to expect in regards to the durability of the PVD coatings? Watch Eden has a Pam 341 that I really like except for the huge size of 60mm. I'm curious as to how well this holds up. Also what is available for finish repairs? Thanks much.

Vert, all rep pvd will be shinny and I've had it scratch before.
DSN would be next
Then for the best of the best Avitt and his DLC treatment is second to none IMO

Thanks COLDI. I'm going to go ahead and guess the PVD treatment isn't for me, I'd have one torn up in no time. Thanks for your info'. The Pam 341 on Watch Eden looked more mat in finish than shiny, I dig the mat look.

hooligan,

I could easily make it on the 20th. I'm about 30 miles north of Charlotte but a drive to Greenville would be a piece of cake. PM me if you would on the when and where.

Vert, are you coming to the Southeast GTG? Check the thread here: http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/southeast-gtg-ver-2-0-50164

Got a link for that 341 rep you're looking at?

PM sent, Vert.

Hmm, that PVD on the WE watch looks very matte. Impressive, from the photos. That watch is a fantasy, however.

I can tell you my PVD subs have held up extremely well for 10 months now. No scratches or chipping.
I use them as daily beaters, and wear them golfing, mountain biking, fishing and the harshest enviroment of them all.............chasing my 5 year old daughter around.

Well hells bells, no Pam 341 in my future. If I'm going to buy a rep' it has to at least be a model that exists. I was digging through my watch box today and came across my old Baylor dive watch. It's a 17 jewel with a missing bezel but still pretty cool, the crystal is a crazy thick dome, it's a 60's model I'm pretty sure like my Omega. Not worth much but as far as vintage goes I like it. I'll bring a couple to the meet.
