question on Cartier Ballon De Bleu crystal

Hello,

I just bought the Cartier Ballon De Bleu 42mm from V6F. The crystal on the watch when looking sideway looks very distorted (refer to below image) and I just wonder if this is due the poor quality of the crystal or is it similar to the gen? Perhaps someone who has seen a gen before can answer? I found a pic online which shows this very well. Thanks!

the crystal is double dome which may be the reason for that effect. Just pop into a cariter store and see the gen for yourself if its the same thing.
