You will only need a NH35 movement.


Another much better option that’s a little bit more expensive is to buy a 5513 or 14060 set from Raffles

By the way…I did some shopping on AliExpress, and I am now waiting to receive dial, movement, hands, etc…I will post my first creation here…Wish me luck.

My first creation…and I thought it was going to take longer. A few points:

- putting the seconds hand was the most difficult part for me.
- the movement is nh36 with day/date, however I could not find a case with day/date magnifier. Any tips/guidance here?
- the strap I think it is too big, but that‘a what I had at home.
- I ruined a bit the dial as I didn’t cover the dial when I removed the hands a few times whilst I was learning how to position them (although I had a dial cover to use - just not enough patience )
- Happy to hear comments and tips from the experts. Thank you.

Thanks man. Ah, that’s why I could not find one with a larger cyclope
Can I change just the crystal? Or is it easier to buy a new case/crystal?

It depends on the price of the case and your objective

If that’s a cheap case, just buy another one.
If it’s relatively more expensive or that you want to practice a crystal change, then do it

I would personally use another case.

I would also suggest using baton hands rather than mercedes on this build.

Thank you. Makes sense. I wanted to practice the change of a crystal, since I already have to change it, but perhaps it is not worth it in this case…

@Karbon74 If I want to buy a quartz movement, which one would you recommend please?

Another question. I installed the hands, however when I knock the watch, the minutes hand moves…I have already checked and they seem to be installed correctly. Can it be that I broke the minutes hand and now doesn’t stay put as it should?
