So I bought a Quartz Cartier Ballon Bleu for the girlfriend from Stan. However I either can not figure out how to get it going or something is wrong since it is not working at all? I just assumed there was no battery in it when I first got it but just realized there is after talking to Stan and opening up the case so what am I missing?

Well just went and got a new battery and it still is not working... Is there some other things I should tried?

well it looks like your movement is defective then
Damn I guess I was bound to have one eventually... Hopefully Stan can help me out since I already unwrapped it and sized it for her

I got one trick you can try, ive used it sucessfully a couple times to jump start a quartz movement.....
Get a strong magnet, and place it on the crystal, and move it in a circular clockwise direction.
I dont know how or why it works, but sometimes it does
