PVD Pam FInish

I have read sevral post commenting on the PVD finish that it should gone over with a cape cod cloth to give it that micro brushed look. I have a new DSN and it is pretty Matt. Which is correct? Or do they come gloss matt and brushed? And info would be appreciated.

DSN's is the best PVD out there by a MILE! However, a light polish with a cape cod cloth will bring it a little closer to the OEM type finish.

Anything else is way wrong.
