Hello All,

I am considering to give my PAM 005 a good ol' PVD treatment.
And I found a kickass, supplier who can do this a a very fair price.
What is the common price to have this done around the world? I live in EU.

Please post your pros and cons.

I know it wouldn't be as true to the original 005, but still..

It would look stunning!

Lots of gen owners PVD or DLC coating their watches, so no worries about it being "true to the gen watch". If you like the look (which I do), go for it!

I think RBJ does PVD jobs for ~$150, DLC is about double that cost.

Thanks for the answer hooligan.

That's about the same price, that I can have it done for.
What is the difference between PVD and DLC?

I think my supplier said DLC-TR??

Now, is there any of you watch-wizzes who knows where to find a diassembly guide for my 005?

Also... Do I DLC the cannion pin to get a all black look?

Thanks,

Thanks,

if you aiming for that look then go for it. otherwise it is not the norm to have the CP coated.

this is how a highly modded 005 that recieved DLC coating should look like: ( on a Micah green stich military ammo strap )

Nice watch!
That's exactly the look I am going for.
