Purchasing Seagull ST2100 (ETA 2386 clone) movements

I'm looking for recommendations on how to source original Seagull ST2100 movements. Movements that have been properly QC'ed, oiled, timegraphed, etc.

Has anyone had a good experience buying from Seagull directly?

Or pulling ST2100s out of cheap watches known to use the ST2100 that are properly QC'ed before shipping.

Looking for a good source, but don't know where to start.

No one knows. Best bet is to buy a seagull watch and harvest.

How do we know the rep A2824 are not seagull sourced. They are huge movement maker and need sales to make $

The Val-24 and val-36 might be an option. Personally, I'd stick with ETA or selitta movements for reliability and longevity.

an original sea-gul has proven just as much accuracy and longevity tho
