Possible to change Santos 100 midsize strap with aftermarket oem size midsize strap?

Hi,

I am thinking to buy cartier santos 100 mid size (33mm). However, due to the lack of quality of the rep strap,
Is it possible for me to replace the rep strap with some aftermarket santos strap I am looking at from eBay for the gen santos mid size (which is stated as 32mm) ?

Yes. I've done it before with other Santos. Just make sure to order the correct size.

But I can not find correct size of 33mm anywhere in ebay.. lol. Everyone in ebay is selling midsize as 32mm.
Horotomo sells cartier straps, but she only have 38mm version. HKTan too expensive.

What makes me confused, when I checked at chrono24, the gen mid size do have two versions of case, 32mm & 33mm.

Yeah. It's probably not a common size. If you plan on keeping it for a while, HKtan is a good option.

Now I wonder, the 32mm & 33mm version of mid size cartier, maybe they are using the same lug size ?? So I can use the same strap for both.....

Is it 20mm ??

I got a few gen straps offer from ebay for mid size model, lug size is 20mm. U$200 and above. And non refundable once purchased.

So anyone, preferable someone who has this particular model, can comment on this?
