Hmmm that is different. I still think I prefer the blue plastic ones, less likely to scratch the case up.

looks great to me... If you want to avoid the scratches, I would suggest applying some Blutack on the edge. Nonetheless, I'd still stick to Jaxa caseback opener.

I see them on ebay all the time. I think PT or Narikaa had them at one point too.

You may want to ask Birdman, he is the tool guy and can probably get some.

Looks good - but I am sceptical about the claim that it doesn't scratch.

Wrote that eBay member & Birdman--no luck on the plastic availability. Any other suggestions?

I use one of the rubber friction type with a little sticky stuff..... Haven't met a caseback yet that I couldn't get off. And I do everything "onehanded"........ :D

There are none listed at the moment but do a search for "44mm case opener"

I generally use one of these

problem with all of these is they are 44mm only ...

Now I find 47mm casebacks are more an issue than 44mms so I am going to wait for the tool that does both, or at least gives the option to buy one size or the other ...

(Most 44mm casebacks will fit a JAXA or other conventional 3 pin removal tool. It is those 127, 217, 203 and Vintage cases that always max out on the settings. With the PAM249, 232 and other 47mms a good, discount priced 47mm case removal tool is the next grail object ... )

The seller of the aluminum gizmo says in his Ebay description a 40mm and 47mm to follow.

We'll see..
