Looks the same to me. The tip of the hand should line up with the marker, not extend over it.

Received mine a couple days ago, the rep strap is paper thin. For now, I have this on Cengio's Shark

The minute hand is indeed too long compared to a genuine PAM779, but if you compare it to the original error-proof Rolex models they ordered in the 40's, the hands were also too long... So in a way, the HWF REP is closer to the original than Panerai's Homage!
