Any word on repping these??? Just just came out, and for those who can't pull of a fiddy, this is a great gen mini fiddy style. I love these!

While waiting, a "fantasy/franken" model consisting of a "mini fiddy' case, manual wind movement with black "Luminor" sandwich dial, silver hands and flat crystal would be a nice substitution until a true rep appears.

Is this possible (will all components fit)? Have any modders created one?

I think, that PAM312 will soon be very popular (1950 case, date with no spyglass, sandwich dial), but new movement.

Big challenge for fake masters!!!! I am personally enjoying for it!

I mean, if they can do this, why not 312?!?!? 312 would not be a total fantasy with an A21J!

I would love one of these. Especially in white. I know that it would be a fantasy but I would gobble one up in a heartbeat.

There was a mini fiddy sold like 2 years ago that was a 44mm fiddy case...

my wife surprised me this weekend by presenting me with a genuine 312.... it's a beautiful piece but the funny part, the rotor on it is louder than an A7750's... and it's a known problem with the p.9000 movement....

As for replicating it, it will be nigh-impossible to make a super rep of it because the movement is so different than what can be repped.... the factories tried to rep the 233's movement and failed repeatedly...

I think I'll wait for awhile, it's going to take the factories a LONG time to get these right. Any of the newer PAMs coming out will look wrong, and will easily be called out. The old Luminors are looking more and more gen each month, it's scary.

i agree with you...but i think ithe 312 is really cool !!!!
i own a DSN 172 which really great...
i would like to buy a pam111h...but DSN is asking something like 400$ for it which is too much ....
another dream would be the Panerai Luminor 1950 Tourbillon but i think it is impossible to be replicated....

does this exist in reality??

Old thread - I know. Just wanted to add:

One of my collegues has a gen 312 - beautiful watch IMO. That's the one that got me interested in PAMs to start with.

Now, another one of my collegues has a rep of it and it's NOTHING like the gen. The entire watch makes a really cheap appearance, but what is worst of all, is that the bloody lever on the CG opens UPwards. It's turned 180° wrong, however it can't be fixed due to the reg. tm on the cg. Not to mention the EXTREME AR, cheap hands etc. etc. etc.

Regards,

Marc
