PAM250 Woes, Advice Needed

Guys,

My new PAM250 from Trusty seems to be having more problems than the Jag I had in college.

The watch is now losing 15 minutes per day, and the subdial at 6 runs all the time. It resets with the chrono reset pusher, but I'm wondering if that is at all related to the time loss.

Overall, very nice looking rep but I'm starting to wonder if I got a lemon.

Should I ask to return it to Trusty and get another 250, or do you think I'd be better off exchanging for something else that is a non-chrono?

Thanks!

Disappointing

I would like to have a chrono myself. Hopefully you can get another that will be fine.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I have a new rep on the way and hate to see this happen to anyone.

Good luck!

It doesn't matter if it was made by martians, If you've got a chrono that's not working and its loosing 15 minutes a day I would certainly tell Andrew about it and see about swapping it. If you want to play it safe ya something without chrono's is the way to go but If you do get a chrono thats working its worth the hassle at least to me.

I just got the Swiss 250 from Andrew and it works like a charm. Contact him. He is great to work with.

This sucks.
But I'm sure Andrew'll fix it.

Could some one comment on the quality of the case?
I read on RWG2 that it's become somewhat worse compared to the quality of other PAMs.

I'm sure Andrew will take care of you. My 7750 196 keeps perfect time.

From what I've heard, this movement is hit or miss. More likely to have a hit if it's in a regular rotation of your watches. Just like a car, if it sits around, the engine might freeze.

If the watch is not getting much wrist time... it wouldn't hurt to get a watch winder... :D But let Trusty know what going on. He will show you why he keeps getting stellar reviews...

Sounds like the extra drag from the extra chrono gears slowing it down.

I bet it runs fast if the chrono is off.
