Since the last review went well here is another one. I took many pictures on different surfaces since I think the watch looks different up against different things. If I missed a part in the pictures or description please let me know...
Review:
I bought this Pam029 from TORO on rubber and then I got the ASSO strap for it. The Tuxedo dial is truely something you have to see in person. The texture is deep and a nice change from the almost steril dial of the more common pam models. Lugs have a great shape (im not an expet so I trust the Pam guide for details like the lug shape) and the case is fully polished. The crown gaurd is also polished and has the correct polished pin. The lever has a nice feel and no wobble. Snapes into place perfectly and feels solid unlike some other pams i've had. The bezel is my second favorite part to the dial with the brushed finish and GMT numbers engraved into it. Nice single AR in the crystal and the cyclops is accurate to gen (I acctually don't like cystals with the magnifyer but its not raised like the rolex it acctually goes into the cystal so the top is smooth so Im ok with it).
The movement is the 2836 with GMT function and is known to be bulletproof. Works like a charm. Dial has Superlume as well as all the hands .... so many hands haha. I tried to capture the lume in the pics.
Rubber strap is standard rep Panerai rubber that we all know is spot on. Asso strap... what can I say. It is just fantastic! everything about it is great, good color and feel. The strap also isn't stiff as a board like most but nice and plyable after wearing it for a few days. Changes the look of the watch to a more dressy and just makes it POP. Buckel is accurate to gen as well and functions as it should...
ok enough talk ... onto the pics
