I have a 243 fully modded and a 252 fully modded. I had a pam199. Out of the box the pam199 is the most 1:1.
The pam024 is not being made as a ultimate model. Had one, but did not really like it. 252 and 199 are ultimate models. 252 is second best to the 199 in the models you mentioned. great case, cg, cg pin, date mag, date font.
But I did not really like the 199 dial. So ended up with 243 and 252. best choices. but 243 needs bezel markers modding. should be polished, not brushed.

Review is in my sig for the 243. My one and only submersible that I ever liked. THough it is agreed that the 199, 092 and 252 are the most accurate out of box models.

Although i like the submerables and some of the arkatos. i am not a fan of the new style CG's. I just preffer the older stlye CG's-leaver like on the 111h. What are the models with either a gmt function or submersable. Do they havea model with a GMT and a submersable?

199 is prob one of the best subs out of the box. However if you look at a 47mm sub the 202 and 225 are great out of the box subs as well

One Sub has a GMT function and older CG, I believe it is the only GMT Submersible. Many other Subs do have the regular CG though, just do a little browsing of all the models.

I should have a Sub case and dial shortly ;) And have a GMT movement waiting for its new home. Plus have some tritium lumed hands on their way. Just need a DSN or Ultimate GMT hand, and I'm set :)

@ Eugene S.
sorry for long wait for reply. I am normally only active on RWG & RG.
my pam243 was relumed by The Zigmeister (rwg), both hands, dial, pearl in correct color tritium mix. Also better date font installed, thinker font. Lume job is around 150usd estimated.

I tried to fit a pam252 crystal in it because of the better date mag, but that did not fit.

Also made the pin better flush with crown guard. And the lever was made tight with the glue gun fix. I use 2 guns. one with glue and one just to heat the lever and pin. making it less messy

bezel markers are also polished. first I taped the whole top of the watch with blue painters tape. Then with razer sharp cutting knife I gently cut out space for the markers. Then I used a wet stone for removing the small rings on the markers, brushing this out. then brushing it with 600 brushing paper. than polish it with polish cloth. for shiny gen like markers.

Also removed the complete bezel, which actually consists of two parts. I removed it, because i wanted to make the bezel turn more tightly. So I modded the ring inside the bezel a bit, making it press more tight to the case.

This is from T4D, one of the better 243s around.

Lume is alright at first charge, but dies out fairly quickly unlike the rest which are all DSN or Vacclumed or gen lume.
