127 has an "E" series movement

Black seal has "H" series movement.

Both look Asian

Thanks!

Is it possible to find E or H series on all manual PAMs (can you have an H on a PAM127)?

Which one is better?

Its the same movement with different plates/bridges. The movements are right for the series of watch. You could but an H series movement in the 127 but it wouldnt be correct.

Thanks COLDI, appreciated.

The E is defo Asian, but what are the obvious clues that would make H non Swiss?

I was looking at the shock assemblies.

Do you have a pic of the H movement with it not running? that would help a lot

The H is definitely Asian. You can tell by the anti-shock assembly (the type of shock protection), as well as the small brass "block" that connects the mainspring to the regulator. The Swiss movements have a small dimple in the center of that little block, the Asian movements don't. I'm certain with the H series movement stopped, you'll see the flared spokes of the 6497-2 that the Asian movement is patterned after.
