I can't beleive it! I have had this watch for less then one month. First problem (1st week) the Chrono stopped reseting back to zero (A7750) and now the insert located at 12 o'clock on my Bezel is gone!

Needless to say I am very disappointed! This is my favorite and most expensive Rep of my collection. My cheaper Reps work like a charm and I have never had any issues. Today I just ordered a Honey Gator Strap and a Cool Submarine Buckle for it. I hope I did not waste my money.................

After the First (Chrono) issue, I contacted the (member) seller. The seller advised me to send the watch back to him and he would send it back to his source and have it repaired. I decided I can live the Chrono problem and never sent it back. So now the insert fell off. I wear the watch approximately 3 times a week.

What should I do. I feel like I got a Lemon of a watch. I am going to private message the seller. I Love the look and feel of the watch, but feel like I got ripped off since it is falling a part in such a short time. Is it possible to get another insert (Triangle with center lume dot)? Should I ask the seller for a refund or swap it for a better quality watch. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks AXO.

thats why i keep my hands 100% away from watches with asian 7750

what do you need the chrono for anyway ? cool watch, but when problems arise !

my advice, stick with more reliable mvmnts. we have a guy here that repairs those complicated 7750 ( 7753 )

or better yet : get a gen swiss mvmnt...and have it replaced !!

save the money for the repair !

My rule of thumb with the 7750 movements is to never, ever touch the chrono buttons

I have an A7750 PAM 196 chrono of course, 6 months wearing it, works like a charm...+200usd, but it is beautiful and keeps good time...
The movement looks great, no service at all..

bud, I do not think they it is the seller's responsibility, you have used the watch for sometime now and I 7750 movements, it is better not use the chorno functions, if you have to , reset it between 11 to 1

I do not think this is the sellers responsibility. I had a 187 some time ago, those numbers kept falling off. I got new ones from where I purchased it, but it took like six months. If you had searched the forums before purchasing, I am sure you would see that others had similar problems. The advice I can give you is to remove all numbers and glue them back yourself. Once you score new numbers, ofcourse.

That watch is beautiful and I would own it in a second again if this problem did not exist.

Mail a few of the dealers here, and ask if they can find some numbers for you. I am sure, if you pay, that can be arranged.

Good luck,

I can only echo what the others have said and agree that these issues aren't the sellers problem.

Does the chrono reset to the same location every time? If so, sounds like this would be a simple fix for any watch repairer - just remove the hand and reinstall it so that it's at 12.

The bezel number/markers is definitely a known issue with all 187 reps. As Veratio mentioned, your best bet is to source some new markers and then have them ALL removed/reglued with the strongest adhesive you can find.

Thanks for everyones input. I definately want to keep the watch. The Chrono issue, I can live with. I will try and source out the insert. I may send the watch out to be serviced and relumed. I should have researched the watch more before I purchased. Lesson learned.

I just received a PM from the Member/Seller who offered me a refund or return for repair. He has just earned my business for life! I really appreciate this kind of customer service... I hope things pan out. I will definately post his identity with great praise upon working out a solution. Thanks!
