Definitely it is!!! Great mod tips... I would do it on my Breitling Avenger Chrono Ti to make it darker... May I know where I can get the solution off line?

I opened my own thread with the finished result, http://replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5989

hey azgjav did you try this stuff out on stainless steel yet? I know if you soak stainless in chlorine it will turn black if soak it long enough, but it also will pitt and mess it up ...

i've tried to heat-blue the buckle on the pam040..it worked and it looks nice and burnt! napisan didn't have any effect on the ss parts on my 192..

wonder what will be my next project... ;)

I have to figure out to remove the Breitling bezel. azgjav, did you try this mod on your Breitling Chrono Avenger?

well..u can remove the bezel using the bezel knife..it's really really easy if u have it..if not a big phillips' head screw driver with black-tapped(the black tape u used during ns..) tip will do..but i'm not responsible for scratches!! :)

nope, i've not done it on the CA and i don't plan to do it on that..the CA's design is too complicated and will be prone to inconsistencies in colour..

I would be glad if I can try it on the Chrono Avenger. Will find the solution first.

if i remember correctly the singaporean version of napisan is vanquish oxyclean or something like that...i remember using it early this yr on an old 177 when i was still in sg..it darkened the ti but i was too scared of boiling the case in it cause i was unable to remove the movement..

good luck!! :)
