Hi all,
I'm a noob, so please excuse my naïvety . I did some research on PAM reps from this forum and some others. I decided to get the PAM 009 DSN with asian movement. Good choice? Could someone also please educate me on some of the major things I should looking for, it seems like DSN has this rep down pretty well but then again I could be totally wrong.
I will post Pics once I receive it. How is DSN on shipping time?
thanks

DSN IMO makes some of the best out of the box Pams and his shipping time has always been about a week to 10 days for me to the conus

DSN makes good pieces. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Coldi is right, shipping is 10-14 days to US.

Coldi or anyone else. how does the 009 PVD coating hold up, it looks like its little more matte than the Gen., Do you thinka capecod cloth work or just mess up the pvd

It's as matte as it gets, next step up will have to be DLC. It's reasonably tough though I've not tried knocking it around. It's the same mate finish as the gen, except the finish is a tad bit on the rough side.

I'm not familiar with using capecod. I have one but yet to pick up the courage to try it on my GMT Master II. Might just give it a shot on the 009 at some obscure corner.
