PAM 005 problem

I have my PAM 005 for a little over a month now and it started doing something strange. Every once and a while I wind it fully and after an hour or up to 5 hours later it stops. It stops (the second hand that is) in the same place every time, at about 15 to 20 second mark. I pull out the crown and reset the time then I put the crown back and it starts again without winding. I even tryed to wind it up after this happens and I only need to wind a little so I know it isn't running out of power. What do you think the problem can be?

Well, if it always stop at the same mark, I would guess it could be the movement problem.... :shock:

I had a Patek and the second hand stopped at 12:01 all the time, so........ :!:

Anyway, only my experience, hope this help.

just a guess but it sounds like it's hitting the hour hand and stopping.

I had a simillar problem with my 111h swiss the only difference was that the second hand was stopping random not is the same place. Cheked all hands for clearance OK. The problem was with the mainspring, it was dry no lube at all. Well... I took apart the movent then cleaned, oiled and voila it is performing well.

well i wound mine last night, and it only lasted a day. is this what you are talking about?

mine stops when there is wind left in her. Are you sure yours has no wind left in it when it stops?

wind it until it won't go anymore. you will know when it stops winding just don't force it.
