ordered a 177h

so I got angry at the stupid 7750 auto mvmt from my dead gst and order a 177h from eddie.

its near perfect just needs the pin fix. As soon as I hear back fron davidsen I will do that.

I hated selling my 111h, that thing was a workhorse and a daily. Hopefully the 177h will do the job and then some.

That Ti case really chanlleges me, but I ordered a 111H instead.

Eddie recommended the new asian, he said he has only seen 1 come back so far and that is what I am looking for. The swiss wasn't much different...and honostly...I didnt see any difference...

I do however know that the asian is an exact copy from the original movement, the swiss is not.

Ti cases are awsome. Brushed metal makes them look so much more of a tool watch.

Good choice getting a 177H from Eddie. I got my 111H swiss s/n from him as well and it's been a rock solid watch.

My problem is that there are so many choices and combinations of Ti Pams to choose, one of each would be nice.

BTW, Eddie's latest Asian 111H/177H/183H and 217H have been on the market for less then 3 weeks now, so I guess it's a bit early to state that none have had any issues yet.

Both Asian and Swiss 6497 are copies of the original, not only Asian. Neither of them have S/N regulator fully operational, although you'll find them advertised as "working" or "non-working". Don't listen to everything dealers tell you. This board is the great place to learn from experience of others that went thru this long before.

yeah the asian doesnt have the swan neck which is a true part of the gen movement. the swiss has this whether it works or not....the small needle though in the swan neck is still inaccurate. the only truly correct movement is sash's swiss movement with all the parts lookin correct. i have the asian 6497 and it runs great as well!!

yea I went for the asian mvmt, eddie said its worth it to get it and I figure its probably the same difference at that price range...

the movement looks exactly almost exactly like the gen just the swan neck is diff, either way i dont really care I jsut want something Ti and 111h'ish so...yea...

Price was $239 shipped. I am pretty happy at that price seeing as how I paid more than that for my old swiss 111h.

it has the works as stated above just needs canon pin fix, which i will grab as soon as davidsen replies...IF he replies hahahaha

I am looking forward to owning a pam again....

I dont remember but does the 177h need anything else besides canon pin fix? it has ar, sapphire, swanneck, glow ish, correct serial?

I ordered the 177h from eddie as well w/ swiss movement. It does look very much like the asian unit and I hardly can tell the difference. I plan on getting the pin fixed and relume as well.

look at all the pictures. the one where the movement is shown and the crown looks thicker than the one where is more flush.

so i get an email notification from USPS that there was a "notice" left at point of delivery.

which happens to be a UPS store.

which happens to have someone there all day, especially at the time when it was supposedly left.

I goto the USPS center 3 hours later and ask if my package is there. Its still enroute

I go find the carrier for that area. He says he never went to that place and doesnt have anything for me.

I figure I'll go early monday morning and see if I can snag my pam before the carrier gets it.

Unless they never had it to begin with. lol
