The patina on this Ti looks beautiful. Did you polish it or did it come this way? I have a 036 and the Ti does not look like this.

cordovan is a thick leather band...form the horse back...ussualy as a saddle strap...

There's an endless list of straps that will look great on this watch.

Take a look at Elliots Toscana_Siena Brown Cordovan or his Toscana_Marina2_Marrone for starters. I've used the Marina2_Marrone on my 001 and it's really a great looking strap--thick and soft.

If you want to go a little classier go with black. I just put the Toscana Marina 2 Black strap with Gold stitching on my fiddy and the change from the oem carmel was dramatic.

Just a few suggestions but in the end the best strap for this watch is the one you like best.

You might find that straps can be just addicitve as watches :shock:

This is a nice watch, by far the nicest Ti I have seen: great choice!

Some good suggestions on the straps (immed above). I am however (no criticism implied of the writer, just a personal thing) against cordovan, due to its source material. Same goes for pangolin (ethics, but in this case its due to the fact that some species are threatened and buying straps adds to demand for the animal).

Europelli, MF and strapmasters also have some nice thick straps to go with this piece - chocolate might look a treat.

Damn. I have never spawned any interest in 1950s but your pics have me considering getting one. Looks damn bloody good. Sorry your 177 is awesome but your 127 is just a beauty in that pic.

As for straps, personally I love MPs. They feel so good on the wrist and looks awesome as well. The quality goes without saying. The new Giovanni is excellent as well but I am looking fwd to more leather variation.
