buddy i saw that today and thought it was a joke... thats just stupid if you ask me. Next we're gunna see "Olympic lawn darts" or something..
Hahah, yeah I'm glad I'm not the only one less than impressed by the walkathon. I was bamboozled by the NBC coverage into switching to USA which was supposed to be running the javelin finals, but nope I got race walking.
As much as it sucked I actually left it on for awhile, even though the event lacked I found the commentary great :?

Yeah there are apparently all sorts of stupid rules. And they all walk in a manner that just screams hip dislocation, however from what i was seeing nobody pulled up lame... sigh

Race walking is LIKE a sport, sorta like running, not quite walking but just 'in between'... lol, what a a joke, plus you look ridiculous doing it. :lol:
