ok this is killin me!!

ok....i went into my AD today and tried on some Panerai.....

i have narrowed it down to these 2.....

1:

Panerai 176 H BASE luminor

OR

2:

Panerai 177H luminor marina

both are 44mm and both are titanium with sandwich dials.....its just a matter of getting the "seconds" sweep at 9 o'clock or not.....

keep in mind i have a 16610 gen sub and am lookin for somethin opposite to wear on the off days. The wifey liked the BASE cuz it had less flash and was more simple....what do you guys think?

Both are very accurate....get the 177H purchase out of the way because you will want one "bad" later

I have the polished ss 111h and it looks very nice. I had the base once and loved it, but that sandwhich dial is realy cool. The one thing I always wished I had once I got the base was the seconds hand. You wont regret either one but you may always wish your pan had just a little more like I always did.

ya i wasnt sure about the titanium until i tried on the gen today....is teh titanium pretty accurate?

i have a 177h and as you can see is well worn.
i assembled it myself even has sandwich dial,
which i am not sure is stock or not but cool none the less.

the Ti look cant be beat compared to polished steel, Ti goes great everyday.

everyone has the "me too" one with the sec at 9 just look at the pics of collections here . there are dozenswith sec hand all looking alike to the casual eye and only a few base. you want to be the sheep or the lion ? LOL

no what i meant was that i didnt want to get the base and be wanting the other....but i think ur right....my decision was kinda made there. the original one i was gonna get was the 111H so...
