What is FGD dial and how good is this? I am new in panerai and their are too many different part and I don't understand some of parts.

FGD dials are for the pre-v pams, made before Richmond took over panerai, and in my opionion is a superb replication of the gen pre-v dial

To source the parts...months. B/C FGD isnt making those dials anymore

LH cg 150
Swiss mvt: 125-150 (Otto frei or one with engraved plates)
Pre-V case: 200-250
FGD dial lumed ect: 200-250
Jakob caseback: 100+
hands: 35

Plus if the amount if you pay someone to put it all together. So prob around 1k

not to forget...when the watch is ready assembled....and the hands are being installed -
dont forget to slip with the tool and scratch the rare dial.

i would not recommend to built it yourself if you are a noob,
you need some good tools to do it with....

if you start out with chinese scredrivers......good luck.

Noob question: Have a replicate running 6497-2 using novodial shock protection.

Is it possible to replace it with a incabloc system and will it have effect on the movement?
Is the mod worth the trouble?
