Anyone else’s BBR crap out? My friend in Asia is now having issues as well and they just released a new carbon version today

Same. Mine is still ok but only on the wrist once or twice a month.

Mine both work now also, but I still had issues with both when I received them. My friend is experiencing those similar issues now. Very odd.

I think the quality of the watches being produced by bbr has gone downhill since the v1 excalibur. I know they look great but if its going to crap out thats a huge problem. Still the best factory we have making rd reps. The jbf’s are nice but the bbr just looks that bit better on most models.

It's been like a year that you guys have these and they keep going, which is a good sign
just pushing me to the edge :p

Just the strap is terrible (so bad it would put me off buying in hind sight) and I think the bespoke one some have had made is very pricey. But watching the face is memorising!

TheDonSL apparently the movements are not very well made. Pretty flimsy and shit. Heres a few pics my watch maker sent me. Credit to steve for getting stuck in with these things.

bkg! i dont have the spider but i have two excalibur tourbillons and the double tourbillon, all running well. The v4 of the excalibur tourbillon despite looking better definitely has a weaker movement (at least by feel) but it still works, thats the main thing!

Good to hear. I am considering adding a Spider to the collection this year, but don't want to be buying a timebomb with little hope of rebuilding it if it shits the bed.

Any Spider owners have other news? I'd expect the odd one or two may have crapped out, but if there are more than a few, I may rethink my intentions

Howdy folks, so another year down the road, how are people's Spider's holding up? Any more issues of crapping out? Would you recommend one now, having owned one for a year or two?

Dr Fun Socks Scottymagic TheDonSL Jamie76 and any others who care to comment

Both my JB and BBR are running perfect, but sadly I do not wear them. I sold one of my other BBR also.

Still going strong. Note the strap it comes on is bad so you may need to factor in a bespoke strap given you can't buy them off the shelf.

Thanks. That strap looks lovely, who did you get yours from and what sort of cost will I need to factor in?

I'd love something like this one, but Rubber / Alcantara is probably a bit much to ask for

SMP_lover built a mold from the watch (a member sent him the watch so he could build) so should be able to help. Was around $225 depending on your exact specifications.

Full alcantara with rubberized edges could be made.
