Omega Aqua Terra Thoughts

I was at Costco this weekend and saw the Omega Aqua Terra listing at $1249. For a good ETA replica would run at $250. But if the genuine one costs $1249, it gives me very less incentive to get a replica. Thoughts?

I also saw Breitling EVO listed at $3999. With that price, I'd be interested in getting a replica.

Agree with Aqua Terra and Breitling. Just get whatever you can afford and use your common sense when buying something.

If I had a desire to own an Aqua Terra, at $1250- I would buy a gen. That is just 3-4 decent reps.

Thats a very good price, But I believe that would be the quartz AT (which is also a very nice watch) and not the co-axial. Now if it is the co-axil PM and I'll call them and order it over the phone before you get your hands on it.

The Omegas can be found at such a price that it makes reps not as desirable

I didn't pay attention to whether it is a quartz or Co-axil. I think you are right.

You cant go wrong with aqua terra,i have the XL silver-white dial with blue hand and it is my most beautifull rep.I own a lot of the new toys with double ar but the aqua is something else.

Hey theres nothing wrong with a nice highend quartz watch and at that price I really think its a good deal. Its a outstanding watch. 8)

Hey OP check out Amazon they have some pretty goods deals on Omega, I just looked at an AT for $1220 and they ship it free, can't beat $1220 for the quartz AT 39mm with black dial. 8)

Exactly. I wouls assume that many people here have more than $1000 in reps, when you could buy a decent gen watch and call it a day. Some of the Omegas can be had for particularly affordable as was mentioned. It's whatever floats your boat I guess.

I agree its cool to have a few reps but to dump thousands into them is nuts. I'd rather have two nice gens then ten decent reps.
