when will our dealers start using the broader sword more-gen-like swan neck movements? I can't believe they cost that much more - a simple part replaced. I know WIS WIS WIS.
The Swiss movements with the broader swords are apparently not Swiss and are reliability nightmares. I'd settle for the thin sword and a working watch myself.
I'm going to take this to a new topic, I don't want to hijack Eddies posts!
HOLY canal street batman
You know now that I'm looking closely at those honpo movements I'm not nearly as sure they are Swiss!!!
They appear to have the China ballance wheel and they have a half pallet fork bridge instead of a full bridge. I can still see the model number under the ballance wheel like a Swiss and the Chinese usually don't reproduce the model numbers when they make a copy especially when the panerai movement doesn't have the Unitas model number there.
I'm not sure what they are! Some kind of mix maybe?
