Hi
I want to buy 2 Carier Balon Bleu all stainless auto movement mens watches with diamond bezel. I see that that there are several different versions being offered by various dealers.
Is the ETA 2892 movement that much better than the ETA 2824 and if so what makes it better?
In looking at a lot of the various descriptions for these watches they all seem to claim that they are the best version. What is the best version of this watch? Is it the Ultimate or Ultimate V1?
Also is a Swiss movement better than an Asian. I recall reading a few years ago that the Swiss movements were no longer being supplied and that the Swiss movements now being offered are made up of recycled parts. Is this true?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, theoretically the 2892 offers better shock protection and better finishing even in the lowest grade but on a china-watch I wouldn´t take it for granted. Don´t take swiss (dirty or recycled) or decorated or 2892, go with the standard 2824. If all is perfect otherwise in some years time You can always replace for a new, locally bought movement from $105 upward depending on quality, even with a gen swiss but than You know it´s new.

General advice on this is to check the datefont and to get it from Marvellous Replica with the 2824.

Thanks for your reply. These watches are for my wife. From what you are saying there are different grades of a 2892 movement but it is best to stick with the 2824. Are there any other movements other than the 2892 and 2824? ALso what are the differences in the various grades of a movement?
You mentioned that I should stay away from the Swiss movement. How can I know if I am getting a Swiss or Asian 2824 movement?
Thanls again for your help and have a wonderful new year.

Is it possible to get the A2824 movement for a Ballon Bleu in a 1 to 1 replication? When I look at various listings all of the listings that state 1 to 1 relica all have the 2892 movement.
Thanks
