StealthPam: Ti 44mm / sapphire /swiss 6497/superlume
The attention to detail is superb - cheers David

Sorry about pics - too much sun, but you get the idea ;-)
Edit - also still having probs centering images from photobucket - forum seems to crop the right hand side off.. Anyone got a clue?

Nice picture dude and nice choice too, i had the same problem posting pictures and its too big..oh well, time to do more reading.

Good choice on the Ti watch, i am thinking to get a titanium watch too, something like pam 177 and now i have to add in yours for consideration :)

Very nice! Personally I think I would sand the CG pin down but that is up to each and everyones own taste. :)

Very nice indeed. This is how I was first introduced to the rep watch market. I came across one of David's homage 177's and then while trying to figure out who "DSN" was, I came across some rep forums. I've been hooked ever since.

I'm just waiting for my Swiss powered 177H to return from Rex. :)

Thanks for the comments folks - beginning to wonder if I should have gone for the full Panerai rep - this watch is just sooo nice it begs to mimick the real thing!!

Only neg is the movement - it's certainly not a 28 800 mech, quite slow in comparison & the ticking can be annoyingy loud at times...

I'm now hankering after a real one.... hmmm.... should I or should I not...
Thinking of the auto 240 [click240:2wkecw0t]http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/pam_240_luminor_marina_panerai.htm[/click:2wkecw0t] or the plain manual 176 [click176:2wkecw0t]http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/PAM%2000176_S12577.htm[/click:2wkecw0t]

Nothing wrong with that movement, Neil - it's a Swiss 6497-1. A gen PAM would beat faster (21.6K vph) but that's because it's based on a 6497-2 movement.

All in all, I'd say you've got a heck of a watch there.

Hi, I bought one of these 177H from DSN and noticed this last weekend that the pin was not flat and was sticking out! That was the only thing that I could really catch being different from the original!! How can I get this fixed or sanded down as you have said in your post!! I think this is the only mod I need to do to be satisfied with the watch!!

Thanks,
