Before joining this forum last summer I had no idea what Panerai is. When reading the posts here, I noticed that so many people like these weird watches. And seeing so many wrist shots with PAMs, I never understood why people like them so much. So I sticked to what I liked and bought a few Omegas and Rolexes and I was happy. But, after months of seeing PAMs everywhere they started to grow up on me. Slowly they were not so ugly anymore, actually I found them quite attractive a few months later. But I resisted to buy one. Well until a couple of weeks back at least. One night a whispering Panerai voice inside my head said "buy me, buy me". I couldn't resist any longer. Sent an email to PT and today I have it on my wrist.
The watch that I got is an entry level PAM 111H. I didn't want to buy anything too expensive, because I wasn't sure if I will like it or how it will wear on my wrist. The strap I bought from Panatime.
I'm very satisfied with the watch. It wears great, doesn't slide on my wrist, stays put, doesn't turn around. I really like that. Strap is nice and soft. Lume is weak, but I happen to have a lot of lume powder in a drawer.
You're all familiar with the watch, so no need to say more.
Here are a few obligatory photos.
Now I'm a convert, thanks to you.
