Hi all,
This is my first PAM rep and also my first post! I've been a lurker for a while and after extensive research on RWI recently took my first plunge into the Panerep world by purchasing a PAM 111h off D4M.
I cannot recommend D4M highly enough. The first watch got stopped at China Customs - and somehow got returned to the supplier without being destroyed. The watch was promptly resent, but had an issue whereby the second hand would intermittently stop at 48 seconds.
Within 48 hours of notifying D4M - and without him informing me prior - another watch arrived at my door. This all before I had even had a chance to consider sending the first watch back.
The PAM already has set of Gunny shoes and I've done the wire casing CG mod and filed the CG pin. When I return from the USA (I live in Australia), I will be replacing the hands and dial with DSN ones.
I thought I'd be happy with the watch sans any modifications, but it turned out I was mistaken.
Pics are below. Am I the first to post pics from 35,000 feet (the third and crappiest pic)? Sorry about the quality - they were taken with my iPhone.
