My 6152 with Cortebert 616.

A couple of scans of my 6152 for those that have not seen it. Cortebert 616, re-lumed and plastic filled markers dial with engraved lettering (new Davidesen dial) and hand painted in white (very very difficult to do!!)

Finepics, where'd you get that case from? Fantastic project. I'd love to have one just like it.

Case is the standard rep case although this was one of the earlier ones that came with a Molnija movt - got this from Joshua originally. Now they come with ETA or asian ETA and I'm not sure if they are the same case maker - I think they are.

Yep - I bought it used from a Paneraisti and was already worn in but just wearing it and wetting it with water and forehead grease make sit look better.

@Perspex Tropic - thanks - it's come to a halt while I await the bezel and dial. Wearing it now though!!

An excellent piece. Congrats on bringing this to fruition. The case is nicely aged w/ those scratches.

I have the same strap on my 6152 The crystal looks good, it it plexi or sapph?
My crytal's being swapped out for a "tropic" plexi ... can't wait to see it!

Well I got very lucky with a friend who managed to find a small stock of these out in Portugal at an old watchmakers. Unfortunately they are all gone now but I was able to get them for 50eu each.

Crystal is acrylic - not as soft as perspex but does the job!! Just getting a domed rear crystal made as the next part of this particular project. Also have an Angelus on the go as well!!
