movement check please...

am currently searching for a movement for a vintage PAM project and have come across this one... it looks okay, but i know nothing....

what do you think ??

Looks like a vintage Molnija movement? I can't speak to there 60s-70s stuff but there current movements are great. I've got a few watches with Molnija hand-crankers in 'em and I love the movement.

what are the current movements like, i've seen images of them installed in cheap pocket watches on ebay, but the finish looks really rough...

I think it depends on what watch it's in (much like the 6497/6498s). Here is a pic of the movement in the Junkers that I have (not my pic):

I have the same movement in the vintage Cali dial Radiomir that I bought from Joshua, but it has a solid caseback, so you can't see it. But from Joshua's pics, it's finished and stamped Rolex. :wink:

its £30 (uk pounds), sound like a good price ? How would be able to service such a movement, Ziggy ?? or is there anyone in the UK ?

its to go in a 6152 /1 project...

I say some sellers really must look into comunyties like ours And pump up the prices, Or As soon they see A demand for stuf that before where dump articles!
