This project sort of pushed my noob watchmaker skills as it involved removing hands/dial for the first time. It started out life as a cheapo Silix fiddy and I sort of beat it up and swapped it around some to make it a destro.

Upon looking at the pics I can see that the dial is rotated slightly so looks like I have to go into her again :p

I took Enzos advice and domed up the crystal a bit and yellowed it on the inside with a yellow marker. It has similar distorting properties to the glass crystal but it's way cooler. I also tried some stress cracks but I couldn't get it to crack, it just flexed a lot. Maybe I'll try putting one in the freezer for a while and trying it.

I have a super brown BOB strap that I need to distress for it. Any strap whacking tips

I ground the Panerai off the buckle now all I have to do is sanitize the back. I have a few ideas about that...

I didn't see it until after the paint on the dial had dried. I'm just glad I got the whole thing back together without killing it !
