Material Damage

A yuppie was opening the door of his BMW when a car came along and hit the door, ripping it off completely. When the police arrived at the scene, the yuppie complained bitterly about the damage to his car.

"Officer, look what they've done to my Beemer!"

"You yuppies are so materialistic, it's ridiculous" retorted the officer. "You're so worried about your stupid BMW, you didn't even notice that your left arm was ripped off."

"Oh, my God!" screamed the yuppie, noticing the bloody stump where his arm used to be. "My Rolex!"

BTW have you ever witnessed a car crunch an open door before?

Happened practically right in front of my eyes about a month ago. It was one of those extra huge doors on a 2 door late model car that got bent. Heard a loud crunch, then lots of screeching as the car that hit the door kept on going and the crunched door scraped it's entire side of it. He nearly took out the driver too. It was an SUV and the entire front quarter panel was a gonner.

Had to stay behind and make a statement to the police as things were getting heated between the two drivers.

I learned my lesson on that. Only guy at the scene of a crash that actually saw the accident.
