Yes. There are several dealers that stock hundreds of different Panerai.

What model are you after?

I really don't know the differences between different models. I just like the look of the watches and how large they are. I have quite a few watches in my budding collection and I am looking to get a Panerai that I can wear while surfing.

Start simple

Then buy many. A 111h is a great place to start. A 183 or 210 is a nice classy watch.

Many good dealers. Anyone who is here is probably ok. I have my favorite dealers.

do you all think the PAM 187 would be ok for Surfing? I really like the look of that one. What is a Good or normal price range for one?

Like Eddie Lee always said in his ad: good for 50m dash in the rain

A PAM 111H is a good start, manual wind with great push down lever crown guard. Couple that with a nice rubber strap and you're ready to surf.
That is how most people recommand as a first Panerai, rep or gen. (well, there is also the PAM 000, PAM 005, etc, etc that is plain and simple with class)

111h is the best place to start. Classic PAM dial. Clean case interchangeble bands that look good no matter what color. You can't go wrong. The Asian sells for super cheap. Run with and enjoy.

John,

Best advice anyone will ever give you on a rep board, and that is ignored most: "A rep is just a rep".

As someone mentioned before, spend the (little) money on a Seiko Monster, SKX009, etc - which will perform flawlessly in the salt water day in a and day out.

A rep is just a rep. :)

Regards,
