I am looking to see if any of the TD have the version of this watch that does not have the numeral defect which I have shown in the pictures below. Apparently the first batch of these watches last year were fine but now most of them have the defect. Can anyone help me with this?

thanks

They all have the numeral problem but on the wrist it very hard to notice and of course no gen owner or AD will ever spot it unless they know what to look for and are on the forums.

Most TDs have this watch with the 7553 which does not suffer from the sunken date wheel. You can find at puretime and a number of other TDs. I got mine from Tony at asian7750.

The Santos 100 non-chrono reps typically have a large space between the XI and XII which should almost touch. That's significant tell... but this issue with the III on the chrono version looks like really minor stuff to me. I understand given the cost of the santos chrono's with the 7753 that you have a right to nit pick, but since these are really challenging dials to rep if you feel this kind of printing issue is going bother you, you may want to pass on this watch altogether.
