Very nice. Can you tell us what dealer you got this from?

And thanks for your detailed rep vs gen comparisons.

Very nice. One question about these that I keep forgetting to ask... would what you have shown above fit someone with a big wrist? Both Pam rubber straps that I've gotten are WAY too small, meaning I can only get them to work on the last hole, and that's tight.

Wow that looks nice! :)

Little Hero. Unless those are just tricks of photography, the movement decoration and the space between the "P" and "A" in "PANERAI" on the dial are giveaways. Though it looks like he's trying to hide the dial flaw with the minute hand? Something about the crown/CG looks off, too.

It's a gen. I believe, unregistered has enough self-respect not to buy HQ replica from LH ;)

Look at the luminova paint colour, it's way too different from the one on reps we know. Check the back, the font of numbers, also the crown guard.

Congrats mate!

I think, unregistered stopped the hands that cover "O" and "P"on purpose

Agreed, that's what I said in my post, just on the opposite assumption. :p

Again, unless it's a trick of the photography, the movement decoration is no where near gen quality.

Its a rep, first picture you can see the blue AR coating, that is the giveaway

My gen PAM000 has blue AR (H series). But, you're right, this is a rep.

It's not as prominent (or as effective) as some of the double-AR'd gens out there from Omega and Breitling, but it's visible.

Yup, its my old LH that went off to taka for double AR coating on the crystal (I actually just got him to swap in one of his already ARed crystals). This piece has also gone on to Goin for a movement service so it is butter smooth, and I mean literally, no ticking sound, no kick back on the crown, just amazing. And whatever tint you are seeing is more reflection than tint in the lightbox, I don't see how the pic even looks remotely blue. If you said purple I'd agree, blue, someones been smoking something. Outdoors, its near colorless, so whoever is looking for good AR at a decent price without a long wait, just hit up Taka.

Yup, the main tells are on the movement under the swanneck regulator its coarser the engraving, well all over too, but at least in the pic. Plus the cogs. Dial side, yup the pin needs to be pushed in a bit more (any suggestions? I've tried a couple of times and I don't want to mar the mirror finish) and obviously the dial's "O" and "P/A" are the main tells. Other than that, bit tough to spot now that the biggest issue, the AR has been resolved.

I also got in yesterday the rep box, pretty damn good quality as compared to gen, along with a nice DSN black calf MX strap, so I thought I'd have some fun with my brothers here and see who were the more eagle eyed ones I've seen/handled a number of rep boxes and this is by far the best one I've dealt with. Before anyone asks, I got it off Panaraman so I don't know the source. Main flaws to me is not so much the box, but the internal foam lining.

But it is amusing to see the different comments coming out, some deadset sure its gen, some very very sure its rep. Time to re-read my LH vs Gen review then ;)

ThinkBacks: this rubber set at the second closest in hole fits my 6.75" wrist fine. For an 8" wrist, then yes, I'd expect you to be using the last hole potentially.

sooo Unreg, does this mean you'll be getting rid of any in your collection to make room by chance?? :)
