So here I am at work with a seemingly endless amount of snow falling from the sky and a few hours to kill before I go home so I wanted to collect a list of traditional available Cartier reps. So let's get to it.

The pictures I'm using are from pure times website because they seem to have the most extensive listings of watches but all of the dealers can source the same watches.

ballon bleu
This is an extremely popular ladies model (36mm) but it does also come in a men's size (42mm). There are many different variations some are very accurate some are not so accurate. This is a watch where a large percentage of the gens sold were Quartz so it is accurate to get a Quartz model. The biggest thing to look for is the variations in the dial. The watch over all is very good quality is there for and finish is there and there are a lot of choices of how you would like to have it look.

Calibre
The calibre is Cartier's first watch to offer a true in house movement. It's a 42mm watch it wears much larger than it actually is. The reps are very accurate in a lot of respects but there are still some flaws to mention as well. There have been a few different variations of this watch some are blatantly wrong. If you are looking for a calibre be sure that ring around the subdial at 6 goes through the cannon pinion dead center in the middle of the watch. The models that do not have this also have incorrect crown guards and crown. The crown guards should have a raised edge around the outside like pictures here. The known flaws with this watch are angle of the crown guards from the side profile and the thickness of the watch itself. The gen is paper thin the rep is not. The gen chronograph has a thicker case so this is the more accurate watch in the calibre line up but it still has incorrect angle of crown guards. These flaws should not keep anyone from purchasing this watch as they are barely noticeable unless you are looking for them. I also just added the diver variant to the calibre. The one pictured is from WBK. I don't have any experience with the accuracy of the diver.

Pasha
The pasha is an older rep and there are limited versions dealers can still get mostly low end Quartz watches. I have not held a rep Pahsa in my hand but from all of the pictures I have seen they look very accurate. I'm sorry I can not add much more to this model but I'm sure someone else will post some more info.

Roadster
The roadster is another classic Cartier design based on automobile themed lines. The roadster is another Cartier model with many variations some have been well repped others not so much. The big thing to look for is the subdials on the chronograph. A lot of them do not have proper numbering. The other thing on all of the roadsters is the quick deploy bracelet. Some models have this some don't. To be true to gen you want one with the quick deploy bracelet. The roadster I had did have the quick deploy and it caused me some problems as it wouldn't stay locked in all of the time. This resulted in almost falling to the ground a couple of times. Other than that mine was very close to gen. This are still available through dealers.

Ronde
The reps available are cheap versions of the very expensive models so I would recommend against buying one with a couple of exceptions. There's the traditional ronde solo model available pictured here and there's a tourbillon version available if your into that. They look pretty decent. I have not owned either so I can not attest to the quality.

Rotonde
This model actually appears to be pretty accurate and it is very inexpensive. As for quality of the rep I can not speak as I haven't owned one.

Santos
This is one my favorite reps. They are super rep status watches that are dead on to gen. These watches are extremely high quality and the newer reps do not have any flaws period stop. The newer chronograph models are running 7753 movements with the raised date wheel so it sits properly in the date window. The non chrono models don't have a date which is why I sold mine. They come in a variety of metals and the only thing you need to do to them is replace the strap and clasp because both the rep strap and clasp are junk.

Tank divan
This is another model that appears to be well repped by appearance but I have never seen one in person so I don't know about the finish on them.

Tank anglaise
This model seems to be very close from pictures and I have one on the way. I opted for the large model that has a huge tell, the display case back. It obviously does not have a decorated Cartier movement for $200. That being said the rest of the watch looks damn good. It has a miyota movement in assuming they used this to keep the thickness of the case to gen spec. The mid size rep has a closed caseback as per gen but I find this size too small for me. I will update with the quality once I receive the watch.

Tank MC
This watch looks really good. This is another display caseback watch so that's an obvious flaw but again nothing anyone would ever see. It has also been recently noted by ruski that the cannon pinion is quite large but over all this is an extremely well done replica.

Tank Louis
Only rep available is the large size and only in Quartz. This is the classic Cartier tank design. It's very simple and timeless looks pretty good but the crown appears to be incorrect the gem doesn't come out far enough.

Nice job on this Fivo - definitely sticky worthy in the Cartier section!!

** 1 piece of advice - you may want to host the pics yourself, as we all know the rep industry is volatile and puretime changes their website pretty often. If they do your pics will be gone. Just food for thought :) Great Job bud!!

Thank you buddy. I actually saved the pictures and reposted so they should stick. I hope members can find this useful I know this would have been great when I first started and was looking for Cartier reps.

Great post. Super helpful. The santos was my first rep. Now I'm looking for my next Cartier. This is the best post I've seen that summarizes them all in one place.

any advice on santos series? There's the 38mm and 41mm for non-chrono. Which one would be more accurate or are they the same?

The 38mm is the ultimate edition. I had one and it was damn near perfect. Strap and clasp need to be replaced with gen though.

I've never looked into Cartier but this post has me interested.

Is the Santos the only Cartier super rep? How does it stack up against PAM super reps which are nearly perfect?

Great thread, thanks!

Thanks guys.

The santos is as close to gen as any PAM imo. You need a gen or similar quality strap and a gen buckle. I couldn't tell the difference except for the buckle on mine but I had a good strap. They wear about the same size as a PAM too. I have a tank anglaise sitting in China since before CNY. It has an exhibition case back so it's automatically disqualified but the ballon bleu is supposed to be very good. I had a cheap one and it was even pretty good.

Excellent work fiveo! Its about time someone came up with a list of Cartier reps.

Shame that there's still not much info on the Tank Solo tho. I was after a dressier rep after all those PAMs and was deciding between a Tank MC and a Solo. Really wanted the Solo XL but my TD advised against it so ended up going with MC in Miyota.

Known issue with the MC is the cannon pin as mentioned and also the engraving on the movement. As it's an open caseback, the 'Cartier' wording on the back for some of them are quite off. I'm still waiting on my QC pics for them so hopefully I'll have one of the better ones.

Still hoping that there'll be a super rep of the Solo in the near future tho. That's one hell of a classy watch.

Very nice sir!! I would like to add the ladies Roadster white dial is very very very close to Gen. the angle of the screws on the front is the only flaw. The pink version has a white date wheel and the gen has a pink date wheel. That is a dead give away in my opinion. My wife has Gen an Rep. She wears the Rep. much more it is that good!

Getting alittle confused as I just went to the boutique to try on the santos. Took down the reference number. Its exactly the same as the link I've posted. Wrist size 6.75" here and it fits perfectly.

So the real question is...what should I tell my TD on the model? Cartier Santos 100 Ultimate Version 38mm? L? XL?
