Just got the new DSN 111h dial. What do you think?

Can't decide what to do about this. I bought this (along with one of Taka's new crystals, sead/nembo cg and T's new sl crown) to spiff up my 111h. The detail is great, but what's up with the hook on that 3? Was there a version like that, or did his hand slip? Unless there's something I don't know about, it's a worse tell than anything on my old dial.

Is it really LH or nothing? What would you do?

much better than DSN's earlier versions where the numbers were too fat (a more obvious tell from afar) , and even earlier versions with no "swiss-made" at the bottom.

this is the best you can get other than LH , which costs like almost USD 400 for dials & hands as a package.

The LH dial and hands cost 250...

The hook on the 3 is horrible imo. I'd rather have his older dial. However 112 dial is awesome

That's what I don't understand. How come the 3 on the 112 dial is fine?

Bitmit, these new ones aren't great...but can pass, IMO.

- Number '3' is from Radiomir dial, number '6' from older A-G Series sausage dial, shape of number '2' is something I haven't see so far on any gen Panerai model.

- Dial text is still white, it should be creamy/ivory off-white color.

- 'L Swiss Made L' text under 6 o'clock is too bold as well as slightly wrong font...

Precisely, in the rep game there is no end. No perfect clone.

It all comes down to how obvious it is and how far u r willing to go.

Even LH has flaws but not too major.

IMO this one is passable.

+1, Babola. It's oddly consoling to know that the 3 is actually from a Panerai (albeit the wrong one).
Alvin - are those dials with your matte coating? Can you do a tuto on how to do it? They look so good...
