I got sick of the mirror finish on my Pam. It's just too flashy for me. I bought one of those scratch remover kit for sinks and went to town with it.

If you're in the States, at Williams & Sonoma they make an Ajax-like powder in a gold can, called "Bar Keeper's Friend", used specifically to keep the brushed look on SS; works wonders if you wanted to kick it one step further.

Ah...Mauviel! I would of a set of those. Problem is, I live in a itsy bitsy teeny weeny studio. Although I do have 4 All Clad pots that get used often.
Evildee, very nice. I'm not into shine myself. And thanks for letting us know how you did it! I'm sure the kit you bought only cost you a few bucks? I was planing on getting something similar from Ofrei, but I'm sure what you bought was pretty much the same for 1/10th the price...sort of like a rep!
Gioarmani, thanks for the info on the powder. Williams & Sonoma is right near me...its next to the Whole Foods where I go shopping LOL There also happens to be a Tourneau there too, so I can check out some watches during the same shopping trip.
