I'm sooooo excited!

Just ordered a semi-custom Destro style PVD MM20 from Davidsen. I ordered it with a Destro style setup (obviously) and a solid blank caseback, AR coated sapphire crystal, Swiss 6497 with the high cannon pin, superlumed dial and hands. I much prefer the shape of the MM20 hands to the 127 hands. I thought of ordering it completely unbranded, but with a dial that big, I was afraid that it would look funny without the Marina Militare on the dial.

Since I don't think RXW or Panerai has a trademark on the words Marina Militare, I don't know if this REALLY counts as a rep, but since I bought it from Davidsen I thought I'd post it here.

On the crown or the crown guard?

Judging by Davidsen's pictures, the crown guards are blank, no "TM" no "REG".

Yeah, I found that on Wikipedia, Enzo. I had no idea it was how Italians referred to their naval military forces. Neat. It's a rep to me, we all know it's supposed to be an RXW MM20, but with no *real* markings on it, I can show it off at the gen watch sites without becoming a pariah. :wink:

Klink, I have no idea what you're asking or if you're asking anything at all, but for some reason your posts always put a smile on my face. Life IS good.

Oh yeah, I find *most* of the Panerai gen sites/sub-forums WAY too elitist for my tastes.
