Hi,guys.
Recently, I purchased Ladies' Ballon bleu 28mm, white numeral dial with Rose gold+steel bracelet. I was happy until i found out that Cartier does not have this particular model. When the bracelet is rose gold +steel , the dial is either pink MOP or dial with diamond.
This means that i paid $300 only to buy something that doesn't even exist.

It's non-fundable, so I'm trying to find someone selling the pink MOP dial part and then i will replace in local watch repair shop if i can..
Does anyone know where i can find it?
I feel so dumb..

first of all, thats part and parcel of learning the rep hobby! Mistakes do happen but many of our members, myself included have fantasy pieces! nothing wrong with that really!

Chances are you wont be able to find a dial like that if it hasnt been repped. if it has, ask your TD to source it.. chance are higher but still slim.

+1, You liked it enough to buy it, does it really matter if its a fantasy model?

What are the chances anyone will know that model was never made? next to zero. If you like it and she likes it that's all that matters. Is she a Cartier expert and will know that it was never made? probably not unless she is one of the members here. In the real world people don't study watches like we do or delve into studying every little last detail about the watches. Chances are 99.9% that she will never ever run into anyone in her entire lifetime that knows that it wasn't made. Even so, aftermarket dials are made all the time for genuine watches. Just look at Rolex and all the aftermarket dials you see on people's gen watches. I'd just let her enjoy it. I bet she will be thrilled with it.

Yes, I bought it for myself. This is my first purchase of replica. I have many friends who own Rolex or Cartier watches ,but none of my friend has this model yet. Chances they go to Cartier shop and check out what i bought is not too slim cause ladies sometimes want to know how much it costs to buy her friend's watch. That's why i didn't wanna buy a fantasy model as the first time rep buyer.

Hi, I´m no specialist in Cartier but isn´t it easier and much cheaper to just order the SS bracelet from the TD and put it on. Generally what I prefer is to get a nice leather strap (not from China) to go with it as many gen owners do anyway, something like this:

maybe from here (check the lugsize): http://www.panatime.com/nsearch.htm...chsubmit=Search&vwcatalog=yhst-87306363192469 for not spending so much check watchbandcenter.com as an alternative.

That makes sense Skaks. I do understand where you are coming from. Honestly you would be much better off just ordering another watch than trying to find a dial. At least that's my opinion. I think it will be super tough to find a dial for that. I may be wrong though. But since it is basically brand new you could put it in the sales section and I bet it would sell in the first day. a lot of guys looking for gifts for their wives or girlfriends right now. and you could get most of your money back. and then just order a model that is not a fantasy watch. Just my .000002 cents. lol

Cartier has made so many versions of the ballon that have been discontinued and special edition this and limited edition that even if your friend does go to a Cartier store and tell them what it is you have the rep from Cartier most likely doesn't have a clue either. I was told in a Cartier boutique that they didn't make a certain model of the santos that I knew for a fact was made just didn't know it was discontinued. If your dead set on not wearing the watch as is just do the bracelet swap as suggested or list it on M2M and get a different watch. Hope it all works out. The ballon is my favorite ladies watch BTW.

you can sell on here

you can get a new strap

or just wear it and tell everyone it's an old special edition even the people working at Cartier don't know every single model that came out.
