This is from Ken, In Japan/GZ. To put it short Ken is more or less responsible for all the HQ reps that we have. He buys the Originals, he gets them made first, then we see them sometimes same time as or like the 187 not until like 6 months later after he comes out with it.

Looks pretty dam good to me though, I mean I just love the style, I know some people arnt crazy about these, I think these are great for the panerai style. Much better than there new 8 day linier , quazi moonphase "historical" 44mm 1950 monstrocity. GAG

Its not a advertisement. Just stating its out and the only person who you can get it from. If you dont know who Ken is , like i said here i am not blowing smoke up his ass. Just stating a fact that he is responsible for most of the high quality reps that are out. Ken bought an original 187 and had it duplicated. Thats why it has been avalible from him since last christmas. I purchased a watch from him indirectly about one year ago via an yahoo auctions.

It is really hard to belive that one person propogates the entire replica watch business but this is the case for high quality reps. Mostly =)


Also for those of you who do not know me,

I have been a member of the TRC, the other forum Since its inception 5 years ago or so. And before that its preadisor board the RWCC.

I see many of you from the TRC and RWG over here too. Seem like more discusion is happing here and i like it

Agian, My apologies if this was taken that i was advertising for Ken. Not directly. I mean honesly I am not going to buy it from him, just because i have my own guy in Guangzhou that i deal with that in a month or two will have it.

I assumed people knew who he was at first. Next time ill post pics of the newest reps and have no dealer attached to it.

Those are written for that section, but we don't really have too many written rules for the rest of the forum. Just guidlines more than anything else. :wink:

Oh, I understood what you were doing and it wasn't really a big deal.

The only thing I had a problem with was the confusion factor. I have seen you around on the other forums and know that you have been around much longer than I have. I never questioned your motives for posting the info and that is one of the reasons I left it for as long as I did.

The only issue I ran into was the fact that a provided email address and price for an item in the open forum may give would be scammers, spammers or other scumbags bad ideas. They see you do it and begin to think that it is ok to do. Not a big deal really, but since this forum does get a lot of new people, I didn't want there to be any problems.

Just looking out for everyone's best interests. Don't think I was accusing you of anything, I wasn't.


On a more happy thought......

How long do you think it will be before our dealers have this in a Ti model?

TI model. Yea, I dunno, what ken said from his email is that if this does ok that more models would be coming out. I am guessing because the actual case is differnt it would be a while because of the fact that then can not just reach in the parts box for a standard TI case.

I encourage every one to go to , RWG and look at kens info. Thats all I do, I really dont buy from him. Its just cool to see what will be out in a couple months or sooner. From all the dealers here.
