How to remove AR?

Hi,

I just purchased a 111H and despite ordering it without AR it somehow managed to be lost in translation and it showed up with it. As it is very blue, I would like to remove it however, I am unsure how. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You may wish to remove the crystal first and remove the AR using scotsbrite to avoid scratches on your case. Or capecod will also do the trick. For me, I usually do this in a batch dipping onto acid.

if its on the inside cape cod worked for me it was a 3 min job if it s on the outside tape it up the metal parts as to not scratch the case and then clean up the residue of the tape with the cape cod and youre done easy job

Thank you very much for the advice, I will have to pick some up. Just one more Q, how do I get to the inside? I searched and found that people used duck tape and found that it had enough power to twist the bottom off? or was that for different models? If I dont have a case opener how do you recommend i do it? or is one required?

Another quick option is to buy a caseback opener. If you have a Harbor Freight in your town, they carry a basic one along with some other watch-maker supplies. I royally "F"'d up my first rep when I tried to open a case back with duct-tape and wide jaw pliers.
Buy the right tools before modding.

duck tape will work. then your going to have to remove the crown guard (2 screws) and the crown. Then the screws in the small tabs holding the movment down. do a search on how to remove a crown on your movment before you destroy your watch. I destroyed my first watch and it took me a long time to take it apart fix and put it back together.

buy some silicon grease so you can grease(waterproof) the o-rings on caseback and crown when you put it back together!

Also want to know is that possible to remove the blue AR on the cyclops as well?

yes it is possible. this involves more complex process by removing the cyclop first.
