Homemade Cigar Case....

Thought I'd share... I made this as a gift for my dad. It was made to fit Churchill's comfortably, but as you can see the #2's fit well.

How could it be improved upon?

BTW, 382 VSF loves Montecristo #2's.

Here ya go! Ever tried wet moulding leather? Instructions: buy 5-6oz weight leather, build wooden moulds of inner and outer parts, wet and form leather over the moulds, allow to completely dry, remove excess leather, punch holes, dye leather, sew leather, bevel and burnish the edges, and finish with a quick buff with a cotton towel. Time to make, 5-7 days.

Difficult is always relative... I consider the process labor intensive and time consuming, but at the same time very rewarding. I am currently in the process of making four cigar cases for clients. I think the whole lot will take 3-4 weeks because I also have other things to take care of other than just making cigar cases hehe. The new ones I am making can hold most size up to robusto gauge.
