Hi there, I've just gone to put my Bronze Bell& Ross on this morning and have been met with a heavy rattle - by the sound I would guess the rotor has come off.
Watch is keeping time and working fine.
Movement is a Miyota 9015.

How hard is it to fix a loose rotor?
Is there a diagram to show what I may be faced with?

Watch is about 8 weeks old..

Thanks in advance!

See if the screws broke off or fell off. Worst case you need a new movement which is $100. Or remove the rotor and just wind it up till you fix it.

Well the rotor had come unscrewed and was just floating in there.
All fixed now..but I thought the 9015 was not a screw in rotor, more pressed?
Also...finger cots look to be in low supply over in the factories..

That's not a Miyota 9015, it's a 2836/2824.
I have just discovered that what I ordered is not what I received.
I only mentioned a Miyota as that was listed in the details of the trusted dealer's website, When I opened it up that's a different story.

This is what was advertised, Is the 2836 a lower model ?

Can you send a link to the actual watch you ordered on the TD's site?

The 2824/2836 clone movement is just as good as the Miyota 9015. You can always upgrade to a genuine ETA 2824/2836, which will be better than the Miyota, especially if you opt for a Elabore or Top grade ETA. I personally wouldn't want a Miyota movement.

I figured it was advertised as such, just wanted to make sure there wasn't any changes or options you may have over looked.

As I mentioned before, I wouldn't worry about it. You didn't get a "lesser" movement, just different. The factory probably changed to the 2824 for whatever reason, and Trusty just didn't update the listing. I would personally prefer the 2824 over the 9015. The ETA clone can be more accurate than the 9015, and you can always swap it for a genuine ETA 2824(Elabore or Top grade prefered). 9015's tend to have a loud rotor and inconsistant accuracy depending on positions.

I see it as a win, myself. This isn't like you got a cheap DG2813 or some "time bomb" movement. I say forget about it and enjoy that badass watch
