Hi to all and thanks to this super forum which help me not to make a big error buying from scammers on the net.

I just wanna buy my first Panerai watch and I was looking for advices from experimented buyers.

I wrote HARD TO FIND coz :
1) I wanna pay a max of 150€ (approx $200)
2) I want sapphire glass watch
3) I prefer automatic but to expensive so I need JAPANESE movement with battery
4) I live in France so I don't know if they will be custom problem as watches comes only from China or US (had some bad experience in past with other products)
5) I know nothing about Jewels?, Movement?, ETA? etc so I just need a watch wich will work normally.
6) Leather straps is ok but seems not to be good quality even if watch cost $450 and I see in forum that buyers generally change it.
7) Paypal is prefered

My first choise go to this one :
http://www.replicamake.com/product_info.php?cPath=78_141&products_id=289
Don't know the meaning of ''Asian Unitas 17 J Manual Handwind movement''
Perhaps you know some sellers with better quality replica watches ($118 is cheap so perhaps not so good).

If someone ecan advise me I will be thankfull

Sorry for my poor english and regards.

Panerai first rep

Hi,

I live in England and I too am looking to buy my first Panerai, the same model from replicamake.com.

First of all I have contacted Lay of replicamake.com and he will answer your questions almost instantly. My impression of him is backed up by other members on this forum as being easy to deal with and seems like a decent guy.

I also sought advice from forum member guru about the 17j movement and he told it was good and reliable. The best movement is called the A7750 and this will cost $100 more so expect to pay anything between $250 and $400 dollars for a watch with the 7750 movement,

I am not too sure about the technical stuff but basically Asian Unitas 17 J Manual Handwind movement= good and the 7750 movement = great.

From my reasearch I have been told that the replicas sold here by trusted dealers are far better quality than something you would buy off the street. But even the best replicas will have the minor flaw.

For my first purchase I will be getting the same model as you, to see how the transation and delivery goes and to check out the quality of the watch and then I will go for a watch of $250 dollars or more.

I would contact Lay from replicamake.com and he should answer your questions truthfully, he seems like a good guy.

Your english is fine by the way.

makroud, I think that would make a wonderful first watch and fits nicely within your budget. The Asian 17jewel movement is a copy of the ETA/Unitas 6497. It is a manual wind movement and should give you no problems. I have no idea about customs concerns, ReplicaMake does ship from China. Perhaps one of our other French members can comment?
